It's all in the Details
Your Previous experience
The back country skiing experience is geared toward women who are, at minimum, intermediate skiers that have the requisite equipment to skin up and ski down. If you have a background in downhill skiing and are just getting into this niche sport then this is perfect for you. The terrain will be mostly mild and moderate in grade, however there are always short, steep, narrow and sometime variable sections. Our goal is to take the utmost care in assessing each day's snow conditions and choosing zones that are appropriate and safe for the group. Mother Nature can always have a trick up her sleeve as well so we will continually assess the conditions as we ski.
Yoga experience: It is not necessary to have extensive yoga experience to participate in the yoga practices. They will be geared toward all levels of yoga exposure and modifications will be cued and offered during all sequences.
